The snow is gone, and it is again warm. It is no longer slippery on the bike paths, and it's almost warm enough that you only need a sweater. In ANW we are now learning about stars, the school has a programme called Stellarium on the computers and you can see the entire sky and also the distances, temperatures, etc...of stars/galixies. In CKV the lesson was about Haiku poems. In informatica is was more work with Networks and building a web page. During Chemistry we are busy with catch-up work, Mhr Slee was very sick last week. Thats why I had so many free hours, and still not grade from my test. Math was still good, slightly more challenging, but that is to be expected. I still have to finish my biology chapter, and its a bit much. I want to do it but I have no want to (not for long, I want good grades). That was the day and now back to Bio!

One more thing: my plans for this weekend are no more due to inconvenient medical plans.

    1. TO YOURSELF FIRST? I UNDERSTAND YOUR GRANDFATHER IS GETTING RADIATION THERAPY TO FOUR VERY PAINFUL CANCER SPOTS IN HIS LOWER SPINE. THE WAY YOU HAVE PUT IT, YOU MAKE ME WONDER IF YOU REALIZE WHAT IS GOING ON WITH HIM, OR THAT YOU EVEN CARE? IT IS TIME THIS BLOG SHOWS THAT YOU HAVE EMPATHY FOR PEOPLE, AND THAT IT NEED NOT BE JUST ABOUT YOUR UPS AND DOWNS. THAT WOULD SHOW PERSONAL GROWTH, BEYOND COOKING ABILITIES.

  3. Anonymous: I did not have the intention of sounding that way. The meaning of this blog is to inform others inside and outside my family of my year and how ones life might work in another country. I purposefully did not include the specifics of my grandfather and also another family member because I did not think it was an appropriate thing to include in a public diary. I also understood that he hadn't broken the news to anyone else yet and so I choose not to be the source, especially again not in public because I feel that is more of a family matter. This is something that has gone into my own private diary from this year, along with many many other more personal topics that would also not be appropriate for this blog. Yes my words were callous and I probably should have worded differently but that night I didn't.
