Trapeze In Gym?

Today in gym we began using a mini trapeze. No it wasn't way up in the air with a rope but only swinging bars over mats. But is was a lot of fun and yet again kicks American gym's butt. I took me one try before I got the right footing down for jumping on the trampoline before catching the bar. Catching and swinging was no problem, everything I knew from the real trapeze in Florida came back to me. After gym was a short pause followed by English which was only one period today because of the college seminars.

I went to four seminars, first being about chemistry from the University of Delft. I also sat in on another one from Delft for their aeronautics program. This was followed by criminology. Criminology was not very good, the speakers seemed like they were going through the motions and they really spoke very little of what they are doing. Instead they spoke of room & board, Delft, how you would be broken up as students. Finally I sat in on a medical seminar from the University of Amsterdam. Unfortunately many of these talks were less on the program and more on social life and living. The best seminar was for Chemistry.

No running today unfortunately. My knee is a little sore from the landings in gym and I had one fall where I fell slightly on it so it got jerked a little. But at least I did something today!
